Exposing the spiritual landmines of the devil through the Word of God
As believers in Jesus Christ, we shouldn’t be surprised when temptations come knocking on our door and when it is placed in our path. All of us have different temptations designed for us to stumble over. But, there is one that the god of this age, Satan, brings about to men and women called lust.
As a Christian, are you preparing yourself for battle against the demonic forces who will eventually come to you? Remember, your faith is what they are looking to take from you.If you are not walking in the ways of the Lord, you are a sitting duck for the enemy.
Sharks are always on the lookout for any sign of blood—smelling it from miles and miles away, which will take the shark to its victim. In Job 1:6-7, God asked Satan his whereabouts on the earth and Satan relied “From roaming through the earth,” Satan answered Him, “and walking around on it.” Just like a shark, he travels looking for a victim to devour. Satan wants to kill people—for a Christian, he wants to kill his faith in Christ and for an unbeliever to make sure he doesn’t believe in Jesus Christ and get saved.
In reality, who is the one that will always be with us when we go through dark times? The LORD. Jesus will never leave us nor forsake us. A Spirit-filled believer will desire Christ more than this world. We look forward to His return, but meanwhile, we must keep busy doing His work in spreading the good news that one can have their sins forgiven if they put their trust in Jesus Christ.
Every Christian should make sure that there is nothing occultic in their homes. Even things that might seem innocent could be an item that is used for devil worship.
Shepherds can be attributed to any believer who are leading people to Jesus Christ for salvation. It has to be the Jesus of the Scriptures not the one that the false religions preach. To be after God’s heart is to know the truth and teach the people what the Bible says and means.
