The word “falsehood” does not only mean not to lie but it also means not to teach a false Jesus with a false gospel.
As believers in Jesus Christ, we have to allow the Holy Spirit, on a daily basis, teach us to be righteous as Jesus is righteous. The Holy Spirit will teach you this when we get into the Word of God. Our minds through the knowledge of Scripture, will get transformed, and our way of thinking will become like Christ’s way of thinking.
We are to love the brotherhood of the faith by encouraging them and by correcting them when they stray from the truth with gentleness.
There is a righteous anger and an unrighteous anger. A righteous anger is toward sin and an unrighteous anger is when we lose our patience with someone and respond in agitation.
Unrighteous anger opens up the door to the enemy. When we get angry, it lowers our faith and the devil will invade our minds with unrighteous thoughts about the person or the situation you are mad about. He will try to convince you to do something sinful, making you go against God’s Word. We have to keep ourselves in check and not to get that mad with anyone.
Satan is always looking for a chance to destroy you. Don’t make it easy for him. Stay in the Word, pray, and continue to live in such a way that pleases the Lord. God’s Word is our compass, map, food, and where we find the truth.
