Exposing The Lies of Satan

The continuation of revealing the New Age religion and their beliefs.

“The demon’s don’t fear the cross… They fear the man on the cross…..” First of all, 1On1Wisdom completely misunderstands the meaning of the cross. How can a person truly understand Scripture? Only when a person comes to realize their need for Jesus and asks Him to save them—is when God’s Spirit enters them, opening up their understanding of holy Scripture. Apart from the Holy Spirit, no one can truly comprehend God’s Word.

What does the cross represent? It represents the devil’s defeat—Revelation 1:18, “and the Living One. I was dead, but look—I am alive forever and ever, and I hold the keys of death and Hades.”

Jesus Christ through His death on the cross, shedding His blood for the sins of the world, and His resurrection, opened up the gates of heaven for those in bondage by the devil, giving them a way out. The cross is what brings people to Jesus (putting their trust in Him)—showing them how much He loves them by forgiving all of their sins.

30 Jesus responded, “This voice came, not for Me, but for you. 31 Now is the judgment of this world. Now the ruler of this world will be cast out. 32 As for Me, if I am lifted up from the earth I will draw all people to Myself.” 33 He said this to signify what kind of death He was about to die.

John 12:30-33, HCSB

In John 12:32-33 shows that the cross is what defeated the devil because it exposed who he really is—through the Scriptures, taking people away from Satan to Christ. Without the cross, there is no salvation, no hope, and no way of going to heaven. Plus, the cross shows that Satan is a loser—the moment we come to the cross and ask Jesus to save us, He not only saves us, but gives us the power over the devil and his fallen angels. See below.

19 Look, I have given you the authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy; nothing will ever harm you. 20 However, don’t rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”

Luke 10:19-20, HCSB

Now you see why Satan is afraid of the cross. The New Age religion would like to make you think that the devil is not, otherwise, it will bring you to Jesus Christ for your salvation and that is what he is trying to keep you from, so he tells people like 1On1Wisdom that the demons are not afraid of the cross, so why should you fear the Lord.

She continues with her statement “The devil is in the church’s… Removing n censoring words… Changing the true meaning.” She believes that the devil has destroyed the Word of God, which it seems what is tripping her up. Can the devil really change the meaning of the words (the Scriptures)?

If He called those whom the word of God came to ‘gods’—and the Scripture cannot be broken—

John 10:35, HCSB

The verse above was about Jesus defending His deity but at the same time, making it clear that God’s Word cannot be broken. The word “broken” in Greek means to loose, to release, to dissolve—Strong’s#3089. No words from Scripture can be loosened—to fall off from the page, metaphorically speaking. In other words, we haven’t lost and will never lose, the meaning that is found in God’s Word, it is all there. Satan wants to keep you from reading the Bible because saving faith comes from the Word of God (Romans 10:17).

This is why it is vital to hold on to the Word of God—being Satan’s target to keep everyone he can from going to heaven.

This is the end of Part 2.

  1. At least you have some clue on the nature of who is following you. The worst thing is being tight with someone like a Judas, somebody who pretends to be on your camp and stabs you in the back.

    1. Your comment reminds me of these verses:

      Psalm 55:12-14
12 Now it is not an enemy who insults me— otherwise I could bear it; it is not a foe who rises up against me—otherwise I could hide from him. 13 But it is you, a man who is my peer, my companion and good friend! 14 We used to have close fellowship; we walked with the crowd into the house of God.

Many people might claim to be Christian, but in the end, the test will be, do they love the truth over the culture?
