Wolves (Killers) in Sheep’s Clothing: Teaching Doctrines of Demons

A false teacher leading Christians astray

2 John 1:10

If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your home, and don’t say, “Welcome,” to him;

There’s a lot of wolves dressed as sheep and look just like the real McCoy making it very difficult to spot and it’s only going to get worse. I have spotted plenty of them climbing over my fence or wall of protection in a spiritual sense. The Lord put in my heart and has given me the desire to read His Word daily. By reading His Word every day, you develop “Jesus-filtered” glasses that could see the special heat signature only a wolf produces, seeing right through its sheep clothing. How exactly does this work?

The more you get familiar with God’s Word, the easier it is to spot false doctrine. The Greek word for teaching is didaché (did-akh-ay’) meaning teaching, doctrine, what is taught in the whole Bible. If anyone puts on your table anything that contradicts the person of Jesus Christ (His deity, virgin birth and His death and resurrection), how to get saved, the Word of God contains errors, that person is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Do not support or participate spiritually in anyway with a person who has a twisted view of Holy Scripture. The way Satan is going to penetrate your wall and attack you is by first destroying your trust in God’s Word, which is vital in strengthening one’s faith.

Romans 10:17
So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the message about Christ.

Some of the demonic tactics are to question the New Testament Greek manuscripts and say that the early Christians changed certain words or even that we are using the wrong name of Jesus. In the Greek NT manuscript the name of Jesus is Ἰησοῦς which is transliterated as Iesous which means Jesus but that we should use Yeshua, the Hebrew equivalent and make it seem like you can’t trust the original name of Jesus which in God’s sovereignty, He allowed “Iesous” to be recorded and spread throughout the Gentile nations.

God inspired the NT in Greek. Why? Because it was the predominant language in its day as it was the language of commerce like English is for us today. Satan loves to attack God’s Word because without it you are defenseless like a lamb without a shepherd in the midst of lions and wolves. My brothers and sisters in Christ, read God’s Word daily and through prayer, stay vigilant because just as 1 Peter 5:8 states “Be serious! Be alert! Your adversary the Devil is prowling around like a roaring lion, looking for anyone he can devour.” Demons have their own doctrine and it will sound pretty close to the original so we must be students of the Word lest we believe in demonic doctrine thinking we’re believing in God’s Word. The enemy of your soul would do anything to make you challenge God’s Word because the result of that would be losing your trust in the Bible you hold in your hands and thus defeating you.
