Bible Review: NKJV KNOW THE WORD Study Bible

I’m doing a review on the NKJV Know The Word Study Bible Hardcover Ed.

The Bible structure is very sturdy, it contains a sewn binding to keep your Bible lasting a very long time with much use. The outside of the cover seems to be a cloth-like texture. The downside of this is that being black mine is fading kind of quickly. It does not have gold gilding on the side, just white so be careful because you can dirty it very quickly with your fingers.

The New King James Version is a word for word translation which makes it kind of difficult to understand on some passages. I would give this translation 10 out of 10 for its faithfulness to the original manuscript but saying that I don’t think it’s good for the devotional time but for deep study. That’s just my personal opinion you would have to decide which translation is right for you.

Inside of the Bible it has a Presentation Page, Table Of Contents of the Old and New Testament, Topic-By-Topic Articles for an example: Trinity (Trinity in Creation (Genesis 1:26-28), Introduction to each Book of the Bible which contains: In Summary, How To Study Genesis is in  a box to the right side of the Introduction Page, STUDY THE BOOK HIGHLIGHTS. It also contains study notes at the bottom of the page which are compared to the notes from the NKJV Study Bible Ed.

The words of Christ are in RED and the red color looks nice, not pink. The Headers with the Chapters are in black. There are no references unless found in the notes at the bottom of the page. At the back of the Bible it has Monies, Weights, and Measures, a Concordance with 39 pages, and 4 pages of colored Maps.

Overall I think this is a wonderful Study Bible with a great translation, you won’t go wrong with this study tool in your hands.
